Overview

Low-loss, fully sealed, built for decades of service

Good economic performance: no-load current drops 60–80% on average and no-load loss is reduced 25–35% on average.

Long service life: the fully sealed oil tank (bolted or welded tank edge) keeps the pressurized oil out of contact with air. Improved tank-seal design and process give proven, high operational reliability.

Small footprint: a corrugated-plate radiator expands and contracts with oil temperature, replacing the oil conservator, for a compact unit with a clean appearance.

Configuration 02

Sealed Amorphous-Alloy Transformer

A fully oil-filled, sealed transformer built on an amorphous-alloy core (iron, nickel, cobalt, boron, carbon) — an isotropic soft-magnetic material. Model series S(B)H15(21–25)-M.

Amorphous-Alloy — Performance advantages
Low lossNo-load loss reduced 60–80% vs silicon steel, cutting grid standby energy use
High energy efficiencyLower losses reduce generation demand and CO₂ emissions
Temperature stabilityStable magnetic properties across a wide temperature range
Sealed amorphous-alloy oil-immersed transformer
Also available: the three-dimensional triangular wound-core series (S20-M-RL / S22-M-RL) — a new generation of energy-saving transformer with a balanced three-phase magnetic circuit, reduced 3rd harmonic, low no-load current, low losses and low operating noise.
Why this design

Engineered to last in the field

Low loss & high efficiency

No-load loss down 25–35%, and up to 60–80% with an amorphous-alloy core.

Fully sealed, long life

Pressurized oil never contacts air, extending service life and reliability.

Corrugated-tank footprint

Corrugated radiator replaces the conservator for a compact, clean unit.

Amorphous-alloy option

Isotropic soft-magnetic core for the lowest standby losses.

Energy-saving 3-D core

Triangular wound-core option balances the magnetic circuit and cuts noise.

Low noise

Balanced flux paths reduce operating noise for sensitive sites.
